Pocket Universes were added to 8bitmmo on 2nd of december 2013.. Their purpose is to send players to a dimension with no monsters and nobody can come in so that the player can build alone. It starts out small and can be expanded with a town stone. It is also the only place a pocket stone can be placed and transponders. During octoberbit 2014 one of the options for the backers that backed $70 was to get an extra pocket universe. to access your own pocket universe, go to /root and use the purple telepad. Pocket universes are also the only place you can place a pocket town stone and transponders.
